Kevin Lanusse, 41, of Scranton, was murdered by Shaun Runyon, 39, a Lehigh Valley native, during a killing rampage in Florida that left three people dead, as Daily Voice previously reported.
Runyon worked with Lanusse at J & B Electric, Inc. and the men lived together with their colleagues in Polk County Florida while work for Publix Supermarkets.
Runyon beat all three men to death at the home they shared and they fled the scene.
Runyon showed up to a random couple's Lake Wales home in bloody clothes, saying he'd been raped, according to police.
He has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of homicide and assault.
Lanusse leaves behind his fiancé, Laura Venturini, and four young children.
A GoFundMe page was created to help his family during this difficult time.
Within 24 hours the campaign has raised more than $30,000 out of a $100,000 goal.
Lanusse is survived by his wife Laura; their children Dylan, Makenzie, Madison, and Aiden; their extended family and many friends.
Funeral and memorial service details have not been released.
